Ruby Throated Hummingbird

I was only going to sit outside for the morning but it was so still and quiet I ended up out there most of the day.

It was so quiet there was little bird activity and I only saw one squirrel.

There was a hummingbird that came to the feeder a couple of times but was so quick that just lifting my camera to my eye, found that she was gone.

Finally I saw this lady hummingbird land on the clothesline and sit and preen herself. Not long after a second one came and had a nice drink from the feeder.
