A puddle of sunlight

I've taken more original pictures today but none that gave me so much pleasure as this robin sitting on the new 'Footpath' sign at the bottom of the Green.  It's something to do with the colours and that puddle of sunlight (which disappeared not long after and turned into rain and thunder).  So it makes my journal just because I couldn't bear to leave it out ;))

Still, it's sunny again now, at the end of the afternoon, and this combination of sun and rain will surely be good for getting yesterday's grass seed to germinate, which I'm happy about.

A pretty peaceful day: quick trip into town for supplies plus drycleaning, clearing up the house, reading - same old, infact, but that's okay by me.  Hope your day's been good too  xx
