met up with katie and pang tonight, which was a real treat, and rather unexpected this trip. katie, who was my little sister's friend growing up (and thus someone the older brother did not converse with) now probably knows me better on account of my abilities to be in thailand multiple times in the year, no longer lives in bangkok. just so happens she is here for a short period before heading down to bali herself for some time, so very lucky to have run into her.

pang, one of katie's friends from the university when she was in bangkok, had moved to chon buri last year, and just so happens to be back in bangkok. always nice to see her as well.

so, a nice little reunion in bangkok this trip, what a great surprise. katie and i discussed where to eat days in advance, and comfort food became an option quickly. combine this with pang who's never had mexican food before, and charley brown's it is.
