Family Get Together

Not sure how many years since R & J were here together.  Certainly before we had dogs!   So here's Ruth & Timmy, Jamie & Bella and Mum .... and Meg.   A happy few hours all together.   An extra pic of Meg being a good girl when told to lie on bed.   Only she chose Bella's bed :-) :-)

A slow start after our late night.  Mum is very tired and sleepy, we think because her diabetes medication dose has recently been increased.  Jamie came up from Brighton to collect Bella and have some time with Grandma before heading off again to Poole, to visit Aaron.   He's become a seasoned wheelchair train traveller!   I just saved him the time and trouble of the bus to and from the nearest accessible train station - which was only a few minutes drive away.

We chatted, we ate, some of us dozed.   Jamie and I shopped for food.  We had a call from gastro in Birmingham with results from yesterday's tests.   Seems Ruth does have another gut issue which might account for her being a bit off colour for a while.   There's a prescription to pick up Monday when she's back in Brum.   Hopefully there will be a retyrn to the better health she enjoyed earlier this year.

A couple more quiet days here with Mum ahead.
