Night Flyer

At least the red admirals are continuing to visit my ivy bush. These butterflies are migrants and can fly at night.

I've missed seeing all the solitary bees that usually arrive. I was therefore delighted to see this yellow-faced bee this afternoon. (Extras) They don't all have yellow masks, mine has white. These tiny bees haven't the means to carry pollen so store it in their crops.
