Emerald Green

I love willow emerald damselflies, probably because I was fortunate enough to have been able to photograph one locally when they first colonised this area around ten years ago and shortly afterwards found one on my own property. They're a fixture now but I've never captured one on the ivy bush before.

Another day with very few ivy visitors. I did spot the velvet mite in extras enjoying a meal of some sort of insect.
