On the Road Again

A memorable day but for all the wrong reasons. We left for Surrey later than planned (not like us) and then apart from a brief stop in Kirkby Lonsdale (lovely town) for lunch, we were driving (mainly Mr P) for over 9 hours!
Interspersed with all the traffic jams and dodgy driving (not us) were problems associated with our flat in Valencia (hopefully sorted now). All in all, by the time we reached my in-laws, I was more than ready for some vino tinto. Good to be reunited. Late now, so I’ll catch up with journals in the morning.
