A Family Affair

After all of yesterday’s stress, today was the perfect antidote. Mr P and I enjoyed a long lie and then after a leisurely breakfast, we walked into Claygate to buy some provisions and have a mooch around the shops.
The rest of the family including my great nephew and niece arrived for a delicious outdoor lunch (still warm and sunny here). We had a lovely afternoon with everyone out in the garden and celebrated the fact that my other niece is expecting her first baby.
Once our visitors had left and we’d tidied everything away, the rest of us caught up with Strictly on IPlayer.
