Empty chairs and empty tables....

We had a coffee in town today and we were the only customers in quite a large food area. Many shops bereft of shoppers too. Just made aware of how people are reacting to this hot weather....staying at home, if they can it would seem. We were certainly pleased to spend time in premises which have a/c!

And I have been very grateful for a quiet evening, just lounging, watching a movie, and I have even read some more of my new book today.
