Piccadilly....in purple....

We chose a great day to go into London! It was noticeably cooler! It was very crowded though and we had to battle our way through. Great that time was of no object and we got to linger.

Piccadilly looked resplendent in purple. It was the first time I had seen these banners and I was very impressed. Kind of the authorities to leave my birthday decorations up after the event! (I am slowly adjusting!)

Home again now and looking forward to a gentle quiet, evening...what is left of it. A very happy day!
