Fancy Seeing You Here!

It's the 1940's weekend on the North Norfolk Railway, so I went over to Sheringham early in order to get a parking space and have a wander round. You never know who you'll see on this weekend! I've added a collage in extras of a few sights. Unless you pay for a railway ticket, you don't have access to the stations or the field of events at Holt, but it's still nice to see people wandering the streets in Sheringham. Later in the morning I walked into Holt to hopefully get a few more photos as everyone in Sheringham was quickly heading for their steam train to Holt - but I only saw one couple dressed up in the distance. Holt used to hold its own events in town, but I think the railway stopped that. It's been a really glorious hot and sunny day, so I sat in the garden this afternoon. It's amazing how often it's glorious weather for the 1940's weekend - I bet a lot of those dressed up were way too hot!
