Chopper

Had a bit of a Saturday lie in.  Took the hound out before breakfast.  It was quite comfortable in a sleeveless top despite a bit of mist.

After breakfast tackled the rampant buddleia a bit more.  

Put an item to spin in the washing machine.  Item still dripping after two spins and a growing puddle on the floor.  Checked the filter and drained out the water.  

Thought problem resolved so put a washing load on.  Puddle resumed so put an old towel at foot of machine which was soon saturated.  Called washing machine repair who'll come on Friday afternoon.  I don't think there's a major problem maybe a coin or button blocking somewhere.  

Rain and storm has been forecast but so far nothing which meant the washing dried.

Been a busy Saturday one way or another.
