Tirana tour

We left our campsite to move - but not till the boys had one more game of tennis and another battle on the table football.
We headed just a little way south along the coast first to a spot out over the sea and a lagoon. Lots of fishing nets and boats, and restaurants- we stopped for a walk and delicious fishy lunch. It was a tricky order - we couldn’t understand the menu, and the waitress couldn’t understand us. But all was good and we had a feast!
Then on for a drive south toward the outskirts of Tirana, the Albanian capital. We found our park spot for the night and then a taxi in to the city centre - which was a bit hairy. These Albanians drivers are a bit crazy and the roads were packed with them! But we survived and met up with a guide for a walking tour of the city. The guide was brilliant, very engaging and bringing the history of the country to life for us. After 2 and half hours with him, we then took his advice for dinner of some grilled meats, chips and beers on a buzzy street. And then a taxi back to the campervans for the night.
