Use your loaf

It took me ages to get going today. I was pretty tired out after the working week and not sure how many in my team appreciated the effort I was making for stuff to go seamlessly. But I did a wash of some clothes and approximately laid out what to take on holiday.

Fidra's tyres hardly needed any air but I put in a couple of psi and mended the plug that the tyre inflator connects to.

I cycled through an invisible but powerful head wind to Mum and Dad's for tea, yawning a lot, and stayed for a while before plunging through the haar again.

Today's blip is one of Mum's loaf tins, from the days when they made them so robustly it could double as a blunt instrument, and when worn out would attract considerable scrap value. This one has a maker's stamp, for Thomson's Patent Bread Tin, Bakewell. I'm assuming that's "made in the town of Bakewell" rather than the range of tins that Thompson's made.
