Braving the weather

I didn’t sleep well last night, more cat-napping I think.  Storms raged around  us all night, with torrential rain, which JJ blissfully slept through, although one loud crack disturbed him slightly, but not enough to wake him.

This afternoon I went up to our friends house to check all was ok, which it was.  The tomatoes will be worth picking in a day or too.  I just managed to get home before it rained again.

There are several caterpillars on the nasturtiums, plus an orb-weaver spider, but it was the ladybird which was asking for its picture to be taken.
