Diamonds and the soles of his shoes
I took this on my way back from buying a diamond blade for the loaned angle-grinder that Tivoli and D had said they'd bring me when they arrived late afternoon. I've never used an angle-grinder before and it turned out that neither of them had either, so I downloaded the manual to work out how to assemble it from the various bits in the box.
Before it got dark we loaded all the greenhouse glass into D's van and started examining how to take apart the greenhouse for its planned migration to Bedford. Meanwhile, D couldn't resist using the borrowed sledgehammer to whack at some of the concrete I want removed from under where the greenhouse used to be. He was impressively good at it and broke up quite a lot of the huge chunks I couldn't lift that I thought I was going to have to cut.
Once the light was fit only for being inside, we ate, drank and made merry. I had rather boldly made a spanakopita using a Greek recipe and it was definitely repeatable.
