Another quilt hung up

It was definitely an indoor day today.

We installed some hooks so this quilt could be hung on the wall above the staircase.  W drilled and mounted the one on the left.  But, being right handed, and with a poor head for heights, he couldn't get into a position to do the one on the right.  So he let me loose with a drill.

The final result looks good.

I finished the new curtains for the spare bedroom a couple of days ago, so they're up, freeing up the blue ones which were in there, to hang in the sewing room - which is the extra spare bedroom.

W's sister and her friend are arriving in a week, so I've tidied up the sewing room and put everything away.  It needs a good vacuum and dust before we move a bed in there.  And I will try to give the windows in both rooms a clean inside and out (which involves hanging out of one window to clean the outside of the other, a procedure that gives W collywobbles!) in the next few days.

We also hung up a couple of plates in the dining room, and I've swapped the curtains in there as well.
