He’s back
Really happy to welcome Henry back this evening, from his motorcycling adventure across quite a chunk of Europe.
As usual with Henry, he seems to come back a little bit taller, than when he went, but not too tall to give be a hug.
His adventure took him through France, Switzerland, Germany, Luxembourg and Belgium, with 2 friends over the last 10 days. He truly does seem to have some strong Howard genes as it is just what my dad did in the 1950s with his friend. Whilst dad went all the way to Italy, and probably for longer, I’ve no doubt Henry will do that in the future.
I did an hour and a half of ironing, followed by an hour taking cuttings and collecting seeds. Then tried to do some sorting in the summerhouse so that I can use it for crafting, but there were a lot of spiders. So I need a hoover.
I went in to Cromer to walk my friend’s dog and take her some flowers from the singing group. It rained so we walked in the woods.
Back home the afternoon was almost over, but I went through the last few chapters I’ve written reminding myself what is happening in my book before going on and writing more.
Henry arrived at just before 6. It was a big relief. I’ve worried most of the week - but he seems to have had a great time. Of course he did!
Some tv before bed. Hoping it is just a 3 day week for me….if I can get Friday off.
