You're probably wondering what's been happening with this guy. Probably not. But the answer is: not much. Waiting for trannies from eBay (transistors not ... never mind) to replace the one that exploded. And with those two (the exploded one and it's partner - they are complementary pairs) replaced I can confirm that there is, in fact, almost nothing wrong with the allegedly broken amp. But there is something. One of the four at the back - the ones screwed to the heat sink - is overheating and I need to find out what's causing that but so far I got nothing. Exciting, eh? 

Nothing other than that. Picked up Chris from the DoE yomp across the Pentlands. Made some shelves for the boy's flat. Filled the car with stuff to take up there tomorrow. Made pizza. That's all.
