Sunday

I didn’t wake until 6:40 am, Autumnal equinox?
Chickens were wondering where I’d got to with their apple and leafy breakfast mix, however they are in a good mood each one producing an egg a day.
Three sets of glampers broke camp and headed home, all delighted and excited about returning again sometime in the future. Beds stripped and rubbish bins emptied before heading to the kitchen where I prepared bacon sandwiches for those who got up in time;)
A group of people who were previous lodgers here joined us for a ramble across the fields with two extra dogs, a total of eight now on the premises. A few field mushrooms were devoured by a couple of us who had enough faith in our knowledge of edible fungi.
The pack of dogs enjoyed a quick dip in the lake before heading back through the woods during which a few of us planned a coastal path walk for Monday morning.
Chicken curry, rice and popadoms were devoured before drinks and banter in the farmhouse and then a trip to The Quay in Instow in the green goddess for a swift peppermint tea.
We then strolled over to the RND Yacht club to watch the sun set over Appledore before the return journey home.
I dug out my rucksack and some clothes ready for tomorrow’s coast path adventure before hitting my pillow.
Zzzzzzz
