Bye Bye Blighty

I was drifting off to sleep in our cabin last night (gently lulled by the waves) when I realised that I’d forgotten to blip!
Lazy day. We woke up to heavy rain. Read the papers, watched His Three Daughters on Netflix and helped prepare a Sunday roast. We spent the rest of the afternoon playing Gin Rummy.
In the evening, we packed up our belongings, said our goodbyes and drove to Portsmouth to catch our ferry to Bilbao. We’re on one of the new eco ferries. Very smart and comfortable with excellent food (French crew) but sadly they’ve no longer got cinemas. That was my favourite part of the crossing. C’est la vie.
