Clothkits…1980’s

Today after Pilates we looked after our granddaughter as she had been sick in the night so could not go to school. She was very good having naps and reading. Also I had planned to start going through my children’s old school books, reports etc and so she was interested to see some of her mothers work at primary school. Various projects, book reviews etc. I’m aiming to filter things a bit and add her reports into the same box.

In the  box I also found some old catalogues including this Clothkits one. 
I made quite a few Clothkits garments when my children were young as they had lovely printed fabric. Eg quilted jackets and nice dungarees.  It prompted me to look in a drawer of kits that still need completing…and found this one..bedclothes etc for a dolls cot. Neither of my children, or grandchildren are keen on dolls or playing with them so this is still only half finished..this is the pillow! 

We picked up grandson as usual and took them both back to their house. Both subdued today but they did their reading and also a bit of music practice to show us what they did in their first piano lesson last week.
