Vroom with a View

Well as many be obvious from the photo, your Gal cursed the weather a little. With the occasional exception, it basically chucked it down from North Manchester until descending from Shap to Penrith!

Thankfully my clothing held up better so whilst socks were damp, there were no goldfish swimming around in my boots and the A66 was pleasant enough all the way to Keswick.

The screen helped some too so am glad for that. We met Ms Arell & Fidra, had a cuppa & bowl of soup in the town (very yum too) before heading off to the cottage for more cups of tea, a lot of chinwagging and drying out of motorcycle clothing.

Am currently trying to cook some salmon for our tea which is more like supper given the time!
