Artist at work!

Al spent most of the morning and afternoon putting the finishing touches to his first oil painting ever. Nice result I think. Maybe he'll sell it at the Artists in the Village later on in the year!
We then went to the pool with grandchildren and then ---- the heavens opened and we had the most amazing electrical storm with hail stones the size of gobstoppers. The noise was deafening and I guess if you were unlucky enough to be caught in the storm you would have a very sore head today.
