Much used

Today we sorted through our collection of cook books as the shelves needed cleaning. We had quite a cull of cook books a few years ago so they almost all went back but it was good to have a look through all the books that we have used over the years.

Here is a selection from different eras. The Good Housekeeping book we have had for a long time and we still refer to it. I gave both daughters a copy when they left home and they both still use it. The Sainsbury’s Pasta book is our go-to book for pasta dishes - I think we probably use it every week.

I think many people will recognise some of these . . . and I’m sure many will easily guess what the much-used-falling-apart-flour-encrusted book in the corner is!!
