The fourth of five days off work.

An easy morning at home with a few jobs and a decent enough pedal out back, before heading into town to catch Starve Acre at Vue Omni - I've read the book a couple of times (it's great) and was really looking forward to the film coming out but thought I'd missed it due to being on holiday at the time of its release. And I've really no idea why Vue have still got sporadic screenings of it on but I'm very glad they have. It looked and sounded great, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Not sure what the other four folk in the audience thought but...yeah, hardly the biggest release of the year but summat of a paganfolkhorror gem I reckon.

And then I went and did something that I've been meaning to do for ages but haven't actually done since 2014 it transpires. It's now a kind of resolution to go and give blood every twelve weeks, I've even written it in the diary for December. No going back!
