Dripping Diamonds

Okay - so it is a soaking wet web!

I didn't sleep brilliantly last night and was up at 5.30am.

Once there was enough light I went into the garden to get some 'wet' pictures. The other 7 are HERE.

SWMBO has spent the day in bed .... catching up on her lost sleep.
Her younger sister turned up this afternoon - bringing some super looking cake...their mother taught her girls well! It hasn't been broken into yet (but I may have some for my supper....just to test it).

Her sister has not long been to the aunt we were going to be staying with in France and after talking to her about it it was decided that we would not risk heading over there so soon.
While her sister was here I took the opportunity to nip down to the surgery to drop off the hospital letter, ask for a doctor's letter to send to the company we were going to fly to France with to go with the insurance form (which reminds me I never got the phone call back I was meant to) - and collect a prescription, which I dropped off at the pharmacy on the way home.
Something was niggling me on my trip out...... 
I got home and found it was that I had forgotten to make a face to face appointment with the doctor .... DOH!
So I phoned up and waited well over 10 minutes in the queue (well, I was 2nd after all).
"A face to face you say" ....... "Yes. on the instructions of the hospital" ..... "Okay, that will be 3 weeks".... "Pardon? - 3 weeks to see somebody who has just had a stoke and the hospital wants to be seen ASAP?" ...... "Yes - That's right. Unless you phone in first thing in the morning" ..... "And that will get her seen faster?" ...... "Oh yes!"
