The birds are busy eating and gathering seeds, they know what’s coming. Two white-breasted nuthatches were busy at the cherry tree, with this one picking sunflower hearts from the ground • I did a first pass 4” cut on our un-mowed banking. Next, the clippings will be raked and removed, then another lower cut will be made. Maybe tomorrow • Also tomorrow, someone will be here to prune a few trees, and transplant some tall grasses and a dwarf lilac, things I’m unable to do myself.
