Pencil Power

My dad passed away in his sleep yesterday at home, comfortable and with no pain. There’s the inevitable feeling of sadness, but also the knowledge that he lived much longer than most and was fine until recent years. Rather than going down tomorrow as intended I’ll be travelling a little later and for slightly longer.

The other aspect of another busy day (the kitchen project continues) is that this afternoon I enjoyed the second session of the short drawing and sketching course I’ve embarked on at the FE College. There’s a lot of scope for improvement.
