The Carry On Book Club Carries ON

We canceled our June meeting when too many of us were unavailable…Took summer off…So today 6 of us met at  Mary’s Retirement home apartment.  (Mary in the extra with what her coffee machine does!)   With the a same book from June which I had to reread.    Worth it …everyone liked it . And great cake.    In June, Margot emailed us she couldn’t come because of a family vacation trip to Europe.  Today we asked her to tell us about her trip and she said she hadn’t been anywhere.  The other person with dementia is now living in the dementia section of her retirement home and can’t come.   So it goes……gotta roll with life….

And then a teeth cleaning appointment ..check it off the list
H’s big event of the day was the delivery of the new coffee machine he bought.  Don’t worry,  the pump on our old one broke but is getting fixed…it was days late being taken to our espresso shop because of my hospitalization…but this one is more automatic…after you decipher the voluminous instructions.   Coffee the last week has been interesting but I think the cone and filter drip turned out pretty good.    I think I need a whole blip on “Whole Latte Love”    later….(after I figure it out) .
