Whole Latte Love

 I know there are some coffee aficionados out there…..

There is a website called Whole Latte Love all about espresso machines….I have heard these two guys talking incessently for a long time on H”s phone or computer…..started just because he’s interested in the science of making good espresso (without spending a fortune) and the guys were so knowledgeable and entertaining.. to deciding to buy a “fancy automatic one”  for me to run while he won’t give up his old tried and true Gaggia which is getting repaired.  It (Gaggia Cadorna  prestige) came yesterday….oh my so much prep..how acid is your water . grind of the beans, kind of coffee, etc etc….came with lot of Italian beans …I have not read about it yet but was happy to see the first cup this am for breakfast ..a flat white.  (Extra)   There are 14 different drinks possible to program and it will save your top five.   This double espresso is the first he has  programmed to save…custom amount of coffee etc. needs bigger espresso cup.. or you could put 2 of the little ones on that shelf and move one over..   One can also make a Ristretto, espresso lungo, cafe, Americano, Cappuccino, Cappuccino XL , Cortado, Flat White, Cafe au lait, Latte macchiato, Latte Macchiato XL, Frothed milk, Hot water.  (14 in all!!…of course describing each  different amount of milk and coffee    which can be customized.)  It’s crazy!   But he’s given it a LOT of thought (and time and energy) and is having a good time so what the heck. 

Still waiting for my test results…..maybe tomorrow !
