Chalky

Led a circular walk around Aston Rowant, Wormsley Valley, Christmas Common and Pyrton Hill today. Thankfully it was not as hot as the days last week. I saw and pointed out lots of interesting things, but being the leader didn't really get chance to photograph any of them. I eventually made an exception for this Chalkhill Blue - they were the stars of the day, with hundreds flying at Aston Rowant National Nature Reserve. Summer has fully arrived once the chalkies are flying.
