The best catch so far

Last night was the best catch ever in my moth trap - hundreds of moths and quite a few species new to the garden list. It forecast possible thunder storms again so I fitted the curved acetate rain shield I designed, but I think there were only a couple of periods of very light drizzle. The amazing catch showed that the rain cover does not seem to deter moths from entering the trap - useful to know. Out of the new species identified so far, this was my favourite - a Sallow Kitten. You really want to cuddle it, don't you!
