Good in Parts

A curate's egg of a day. Started at opticians where they concluded that my left eye cataract needed removing and replacing.. They said that they had a rapid referral pathway (on the NHS) where the operation could be done quite quickly.

With a match in the afternoon I planned to go to a gallery with my Art Pass but everything was closed so I settled for going to Trafalgar Square to see the work on the 4th plinth.. I also took pictures of people taking pictures (something I like to do discretely)-an example in Extras.

Then, on a crowded tube my card wallet was lost or probably pickpocketed- it included my season ticket and Freedom Pass though no bank or credit cards.

Fortunately I had a credit card and paper ticket in another pocket  so I got to the match.

A satisfactory result though my journey home tinged with anxiety.
