It’s my sons 28th birthday today. We had a chat in the morning. He’s been presenting at a conference in Oxford. He will head back to London later today.
I managed to get out for a walk to try and calm my nerves before a dental appointment. It’s beautiful on the merse. I sat and listened to the meadow pipits singing.
Later I was seen by a 6th year dental student who with the help of the tutor extracted one of my teeth. I had a crack into the root of a crowned tooth. It was quite a difficult extraction. But they were kind to me and made sure I was numbed up well.
I’m one of 50000 people in our region without a dentist.
I’m working this evening so I will need to be careful.
My laptop has stopped working . So tomorrow will involve a trip out to get it repaired.
