Libby.

Ironic that this was one of my loft finds yesterday, the day Libby left this world.

Got a sad phone call from her 'Mum' this morning. Libby has been featured here on one of her many Italian mountaineering expeditions. She was never happier than when she was in the mountains.

Libby is Ali's litter sister and went to live in Holland with Ine. Sadly Ine died of cancer when Libby was about 3 years old. With my permission she went to live with Lia who'd had Beardies before. She lived the best life with her.

Ine gave me this framed picture of Libby the day she picked her up. Ine was a dear soul too. They are together once more. 

Being a dog  breeder is heartbreaking, and heartwarming in equal measures.
