Hawthorn
This is an ornamental hawthorn that we bought nearly twenty years ago, to go where we had cleared out a Leylandii forest in the corner of our garden. In recent years it has never failed to bring autumn joy. I snapped a few shots on our return from this morning’s walk (or hobble/wobble in my case, certainly on the way home – Biskit gets worried and holds back to look after me).
Taken without flash using my baby camera . . . (a sore point, not that flash was needed . . .)
Biskit sitting today, including taking Mrs W to Grantham’s NHS Community Diagnostic Centre at Gonerby Hill Foot for her diabetic eye screening. We found a pleasant little park across the road where Biskit could explore (the smells!!) and have a run, meet new friends etc.
My large haddock was consumed for tea tonight, and now veg out until bedtime.
