A day in the life

Rock

My walk brought me to The Garden, immaculately tended by two brothers for decades, now in rest for autumn and winter before starting again in the spring of next year.

This is only one of several stone-towers in the many plantations of their garden, there to gather all the little rocks that constantly emerge from the ground and has to be removed to give space for a huge variation of plants and edibles. The small rocks are thrown inside the tower, while the larger slabs are forming the outer wall and will be raised when needed.

If ever I was a gardener, this is what I would want it to be like.

Rainy day with music and other indoor activity.
