Another biggie

We had our first public service this morning, in our new church plant and it was wonderful. Friends from partnership churches joined us but we had local visitors too! Our numbers were also obviously boosted by the Valleydale Team from Alabama. I’m so grateful for their love, support and encouragement.

We had cake afterwards but we had to run away as we had another milestone to compete. We headed home, finished the packing up and drove NoaNoa to Leeds University for his freshers week. We stopped for lunch early on, to fit around the Arsenal game they wanted to listen to on the way.

We got there about 7’ish, unloaded (always tricky logistics) and helped him set up his room. It’s our 5th time doing this and it’s been different and hard each time. NoaNoa was surprisingly nervous but we are confident he’ll be really fine. It will all suit him.

By the time he was ready for us to leave, as we did birthday presents with him too, it was pretty late. We had planned to stop off at a Premier Inn in Wakefield which was a good decision after such a full on day.

Leeds is quite a long way away really. :-))
