Sorry.   That was pretty much the day.    Hearing test long on the schedule this am..seems the same…low on the priority list.    Then the obligatory post hospital appointment ..the bone marrow results are back. Seems like nothing dire to me. (whew)  Talked with the hematologist who thinks it’s pretty normal and definitely shouldn’t get in the way of a valve clipping (will explain that when and if we get it scheduled)   But more thoracentesis (outpatient!) for those lungs which are still full of fluid  and causing some of the shortness of breath.  Next week.   The bad news:we waited an hour for the chest X-ray (part of that was their error… the check in wasn’t sent….which takes all of 3 minutes.   And a short wait for lab blood.   And there went the day!  grrr…….  The good news: the clinic just got their flu and covid vaccines so we were both  able to get both!
So after all this there is still not a definite answer why my blood counts are down… still some mystery....I’m getting VERY weary of Doctor appointments.
