Breakfast on a Rainy Day

It’s still dark at 7:15 am now, but I love the snugness at home, especially on a rainy day!

A special blackbird decorated mug, bought in the Cotswolds a few years’ ago. Greek yoghourt, blueberry coulis and toasted almonds in my breakfast bowl. A little Honey cat next to me on the footstool next to the couch!

I love mugs with a story and all of mine are connected to something, either a person, an event or some sort of outing or holiday! That's an idea for rainy days: 'mug stories'!

I couldn’t wish for anything more. Contentment is living the moment just as it is without wanting anything to be different!

I had to add a photo of Honey kneading a rolled up blanket at the end of the couch. I'm adding a last round on my autumn colours granny squares, fifty done and fifty more to go before I join them!
