Filtered Spanish Moss
We were able to take a walk in this morning while the sun was shining! In the meantime, Hurricane Helene is making it way through the Gulf of Mexico, heading for Tallahassee and the Big Bend. Helene was a bit slower to develop than originally expected, but will still be a major hurricane when it makes landfall northwest of us. My heart goes out to those in that area.
We are fortunate to be out of its direct path, but we will still receive Tropical-Storm-Force winds of 40-50 mps starting this afternoon, along with heavy thunderstorms. Outside, things are secured because of the anticipated high winds. The weather forecast says the high winds should slow down around midnight.
On our walk I took a photo of this tree covered in Spanish Moss. The wind was blowing about 15-20 mps, higher than normal. I used a "metro" filter (Google Photos) and also tweaked the contrast, shadows, warmth, tint and saturation! I am pleased with this entry for Abstract Thursday, hosted by Ingeborg.
