Norfolk Windmill
A damp start but we decided to still head out for the day. First stop was Felbrigg Estate and gardens. Fortunately it stayed dry for our visit and by lunch the sun put in an appearance.
Then on the Cley and Salthouse Marshes. A wonderful visitors centre with a photographic exhibition and we liked the metal framework birds planted with grasses (see extra). The telescopes had a good view of what was visiting thee marshes today.
Just along the coast was this windmill. Many of these windmills assisted in pumping water and draining land which was below sea level.
A surprisingly good day in view of the forecast.
