One day at a time

I managed to get up, shower, dress and go to breakfast. That was great, but I was soon back in bed and slept until lunchtime.

The others had been on a beach in wild weather. To say it tested the waterproofs is an understatement. One said that I had missed nothing, while another said it was terrific and he could have stayed all day!

Take your pick.

Lunch was in a nearby restaurant and I dressed and joined them, only to have to retreat to bed again.

Progress is too slow for me.

I had a brief wander in the hotel garden after lunch. There are plenty of agapanthus in full bloom, but I liked the contrast between this emerging flower head and the trunk of the palm tree behind.
