Just Set the Bloody Table

I was vociferously grumbling today about some visitors that have been rather foisted on us, and then I read this, by Elizabeth Oldfield, from whence my title, and which I highly recommend - important musings.

Gratefuls:
- living in a place where the bells toll for every death (even of folk no longer living here, but from here), and everyone (except us) knows who they're tolling for
- Netty and family making it safely to NY
- a parcel I posted on Tuesday afternoon arriving in Sutton this morning! even faster than the normal four days, incredible service
