New Bathing Cap

Swim lessons again today. Ellie is a reluctant swimmer, she has become more cautious and fearful than when she was 2 years old. I started her swimming before Covid and she was fearless and relaxed; the lessons shut down and she couldn't resume lessons until after Covid became less of a threat, she was anxious and refused to put her head in the water for the longest time.  She thought a swim cap would help to keep water out of her ears so I got her this purple one online; she loved it. I notice Ellie smiles more often with her lips closed, I wonder if she is self-conscious of the gaps in her teeth. She has lost three front teeth lately.  :-)))

I had an online Zoom meeting this morning and a massage before picking Ellie up after school for her lessons. I brought her to my house after swim and we had a wonderful time together. We decided we didn't have enough time to do all the things we wanted to do so Ellie suggested we spend longer time together. Maybe this weekend we can do that.
