This morning we visited  the Gantière* Agnelle in St Junien. T's parents used to have a house nearby many years ago and I'd been before and bought gloves there.  It was really interesting to go back and find out more about they are made. The blip isn't a torture instrument - rather it is a pattern for cutting the gloves.

We then enjoyed a three course lunch in a traditional French restaurant - very tasty before visiting a museum on religious relics - somewhat macabre.

Mig. then took us to see the house she and her partner are renovating. Really interesting to see what they are doing and all themselves.

Back in Confolens we had a wall into the town and across the old bridge which brought back many memories of previous visits.

Tonight we will have our final communal supper. These have been very nice with members of the twinning group bringing different dishes to share. Everyone brings their own plates and cutlery. It's a nice way of bringing everyone together.

Our visit has flown by - tomorrow we head north.

* a place where gloves are made.
