Epic Eugene Symphony Performance

We thoroughly enjoyed the Eugene Symphony performance this evening at the Hult Center for Performing Arts. 
Of course, Igor Stravinsky's  "The Rite of Spring" is always inspiring. 
However,  Jennifer Higdon's "Violin Concerto", a delightful new piece of music for us, really stole the show.
The violin soloist, Benjamin Beilman, provided a virtuoso performance in the Violin Concerto that gave me "goose bumps".
