One Small Dahlia

out of the hundreds at Anglesey Abbey where I went with my Dad today :)

My parents had booked a motability scooter for me to have a go.  I was nervous at first but in the end quite enjoyed using it - though of course I'd much rather have walked, it was easier on my knee.

Afterwards we picked up my StepMum Y, and went out to lunch at a restaurant called 'Five Miles From Anywhere' at Upware in Cambridgeshire.  

I had a very tasty gammon steak served with egg, pineapple, chips and peas.  Afterwards I had  a very naughty Malteser Waffle with marshmallows, home made vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce :):)

On the way home my lovely StepMum took me for a look around a mobility shop, where I tried out a 'rollator'.  Not sure I'm quite ready for that kind of thing, but I'm going to talk to my physio about it this week...
