Sunshine on a rainy day

Got up early to do a covid test.  Another negative.  I'm feeling fine waking up with a bit of a sore throat which disappears in the day.  I noticed responses on social media stating  that the tests weren't sensitive enough for new variants.  I had a moment of doubt until I thought Mr's test was positive in the same test pack.  

Washing machine is sorted embarrassingly.  It turned out i hadn't turned the filter plug properly so that it had not followed through its thread and wasn't water tight.  Expensive call out charge.  Will pay more attention next time.

Have managed two dog walks without getting wet.

Made risotto with roasted butternut squash and sweet potato and a splash of green peas. 

I've started watching Ludwig on BBC with David Mitchell which is good.

Exasperation at netanyahu's address to the UN.   Has me shouting at the radio 'Stop providing weapons to Israel!

Chilly sunshine tomorrow.  Must go to the shops.
